I wanted to share a recent makeup look that I did with you guys. I know it isn’t Tati or Lustrelux quality, but I was very proud of it all the same! This is one I did for my fiance’s brother’s girlfriend (say that three times fast!). I hosted a simple party at home, but I saw no reason that my makeup couldn’t be rocking for the event!
A trend that I am sure we have all noticed over the past couple of years is that of the bold brow. Celebrities such as Emma Watson, Cara Delevigne, and Megan Fox have all of us grasping for similar, gorgeous, looks. Anastasia of Beverly Hills products, from the Dip Brow Pomade to the Brow Wiz, the brow gel to their ever famous spoolie-ended brush, have moved themselves from a position of relative obscurity to the end all, be all of the brow world. And of course, the hashtag #browsonfleek has taken over Twitter even more than Charlie Sheen’s #winning.
Today I am going to tell you all about my experience with eyelash extensions. First, a little lash-background: my lashes are long and curly, but they are pale blonde (like my brows and hair), which requires me to wear mascara every day if I wish to look even remotely awake. As an emotional crier and profuse sweater, however, mascara is less than ideal for me to wear on a non-standard day (like when I work out, the temperature is hot, or there is a chance I will cry when Barney gets shot down by Robin yet again on How I Met Your Mother… no judging!).
